Read the April 29 edition of “Call of the Spirit,” our electronic newsletter

Call of the Spirit will be delivered directly to your inbox every two weeks. You can read our latest edition at https://mailchi.mp/4756311db0f5/call-of-the-spirit-13748443.

The April 29 edition of Call of the Spirit, the Paulist Fathers Vocations electronic newsletter, features rejoicing in the upcoming priestly ordinations of Paulist Deacon Chris Lawton, C.S.P., and Paulist Deacon Dan Macalinao, C.S.P., Lord willing.

But, we also pause to mourn and remember Rev. James B. Lloyd, C.S.P., the longest-lived Paulist in the history of the missionary society who entered eternal life Friday, April 26, 2024. Fr. Lloyd was 103 years old.

We hope Call of the Spirit will motivate you to learn more about the Paulist Fathers and inspire many to discern a Paulist priesthood.

Besides featuring the latest news and activities from the Paulist Fathers Vocations team, the newsletter also:

-        showcases activities from Paulist seminarians

-        introduces readers to a different Paulist priest and Paulist parish each edition

-        presents brief glimpses of the life of our founder, Servant of God Isaac Hecker, and the history of the Paulist Fathers

-        provides prayer and scripture to encourage your discernment

Call of the Spirit will be delivered directly to your inbox every two weeks. You can read our latest edition at https://mailchi.mp/4756311db0f5/call-of-the-spirit-13748443.

If you’re not part of our email list or know someone who would like to be added, please contact us at vocations@paulist.org. We also invite you to forward our newsletter to someone whom you think would make a great Paulist priest.

As always, please join us in prayer for many Paulist vocations and for the work of our Vocations Director, Fr. Ed Nowak, C.S.P.
