“Joy cannot be held at heel: it must be let go. Joy is a pilgrim virtue. It is a gift that walks, walks on the path of life, that walks with Jesus: preaching, proclaiming Jesus, proclaiming joy, lengthens and widens that path.” - Pope Francis

Paulist Seminarians Deacon Chris Lawton, C.S.P., and Deacon Dan Macalinao, C.S.P., are on the road - not to Damascus, but to the priesthood!

Join us in prayer for their journey to Holy Orders and be inspired by their vocation stories.

Deacon Chris and Deacon Dan both met the Paulist Fathers when they were parishioners at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in New York City, where the Ordination Mass will be celebrated.

You can hear their vocation stories and learn about their journeys to the priesthood in the latest episode of Deacons Pod.

If you’re interested in learning more about a Paulist Fathers vocation, start a conversation with our Vocations Director Fr. Ed Nowak, C.S.P., or know someone who would make a great Paulist priest, please contact Fr. Ed at vocations@paulist.org or at (917) 763-7899.
